Job Seeker: Don’t depend too much on me
March 10, 2009
Many job seekers rely too much on the internet that they miss out on the fact that there are good sources elsewhere. Only a small percent of job listings are posted and not all of the listings are up to date and relevant to you. Aside from seeking jobs online, try out networking because this is a time-tested method and a lot of opportunities happen with this. You could also scan business and trade publications that offer detailed information about the job. You could also register with staffing firms that offer specialized assistance for job seekers; they will be of immense help and you will be more likely to find a job that fits you.
